LANCE HAMILTON AND RON SUTTON SHAKING UP AMERICAN MUSCLE
SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (August 4, 2015) – A Missouri racer with a knack for upsetting the norm has taken the Classic American Muscle autocross world by storm, with the help of Ron Sutton Race Technology.
Lance Hamilton in a sharp burgundy 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo - street legal - competes across the Midwest in his 3500 pound machine with his eye on this year's SCCA Solo Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska.
When I was looking for LS engine accessory drive systems to run on serious engines used for autocross & track days, I was greatly disappointed. Some were all bling and came with poor quality components. Several were import crap. Some were made with "slightly better" quality components, but still came up short for engines being spun to 7000+ RPM.

Ron Sutton Shifting Focus with New Projects in 2014
The coming year will be an interesting & busy one for Ron Sutton. After taking a year off from motorsports in 2013, Ron will be launching five projects in 2014.
Ron said, “I have wanted to write a series of books for years, but just never had the time. The last eight years of running nine race teams, a driver development program, working with Cup Teams, operating our retail & track race parts stores … have kept my plate more than full. After closing the race operation I took a year to relax, start writing books and planning the projects in my next chapter of motorsports.”
Ending of a Chapter
Sacramento, CA - All good things must come to an end as the saying goes. Ron Sutton and his talented team of people closed the Ron Sutton's Winner's Circle driver development program and nine race teams at the end of 2012.
Ron stated, "This long economic turn down has been especially hard on racing sponsorships. When Dale Earnhardt Jr has a third of his races in 2013 unsponsored & top drag racer John Force loses Ford & Castrol ... you can imagine how much smaller operations have been affected. We simply couldn't continue to race at the high level of performance we were known for ... with only half the normal sponsorship funding."
